Nokia Lumia 920 at AT&T – Huge Demand Or Bad Coordination?
During the last few weeks we’ve kept a close eye on the release of the Nokia Lumia 920 at AT&T. The highly anticipated smartphone was available for a pre-order starting November 9th, however the carrier has yet to ship all the orders.
Numerous threads have been created over the blogosphere by frustrated customers who haven’t received their Lumia 920 yet. And what is even worse is that nobody knows what is the reason of this delay as neither Nokia nor AT&T have been willing to give any updates regarding the root-cause behind this situation. Is AT&T experiencing a huge volume of demands or the carrier is not coordinating its orders the way it should?
Nokia Lumia 920 at AT&T to Experience Shipping Delay
Judging by the comments various users are posting, it seems that the Nokia Lumia 920 in red and yellow is running short, most likely because these colors were on a high demand.
In any case, there are some customers who were lucky enough to receive the smartphone in due time or decided to cancel their pre-order and try their luck at a local store. On a side note, if you’re considering canceling your pre-order as well, several users reported that they called AT&T and requested for a cancellation, but had no success in accomplishing that – it seems that the orders can’t be cancelled even though they haven’t been shipped yet.
In addition to this, the customers who did receive their Lumia 920 reported experiencing a low battery life. The issue hasn’t been confirmed until now, but if it’s true, then we may witness the Nokia Lumia 800 story all over again.
How about you? Have you received your pre-order yet and if so, do you experience any battery issues with the handset?
